MacDonald Humfrey (Automation) Ltd has been awarded a prestigious contract to install a complete ‘Sort Allocation Computer System’ for Bucharest Otopeni Airport. The contract award follows on from a number of successful baggage handling contracts undertaken by MacDonald Humfrey (Automation) Ltd at Bucharest Otopeni Airport over the last four years.

The award of the “Sort Allocation Computer System” contract at Bucharest Otopeni Airport further advances the reputation and commitment of MacDonald Humfrey (Automation) Ltd within the field of airport technology.

The complete system is expected to be installed and deployed before the end of 2008.

The “Sort Allocation Computer System” solution is part of the ‘MacH Baggage Services Suite’ which has been successfully deployed at Birmingham International Airport, Larnaca Airport Cyprus and Paphos Airport Cyprus.
