MacDonald Humfrey (Automation) Ltd has been awarded the controls and automation contract to replace the existing DCV system with a conventional baggage handling system.

The main contractor Robson Conveyors will replace the existing Destination coded Vehicle system with a conventional belt conveyor baggage handling system.

Macdonald Humfrey (Automation) Ltd will be responsible for the complete controls and automation involving integration of the existing X-Ray systems for hold baggage screening.

The system will be replaced on a phased basis to ensure minimum disruption to the Airport operations.
