UPS, the world's largest package delivery company and a global leader in supply chain services, has awarded MacDonald Humfrey (Automation) Ltd a turnkey control systems extension and upgrade of the existing conveyor control system at their Camden Distribution Depot.

Adopting the standard specifications of UPS worldwide, MacDonald Humfrey (Automation) Ltd. will undertake control panel design and development, software development, site installation and full commissioning and testing services.

The project is to be undertaken within a live working environment which will require strict planning and close liaison with the UPS design and management team to ensure no disruption occurs to the continuous 24 hour facilities offered by UPS to their customers worldwide.
