MacDonald Humfrey (Automation) Ltd is pleased to announce the establishment of a new 10,000 ft² office in the Chester Area.The new office is a significant improvement and increase in facilities on the existing North West offices situated at Little Stanney, Chester.

The new office facility is based on the Docks at Ellesmere Port which is subject of an exciting new redevelopment consisting of new dock side shops and restaurants, a new dock side village complex, the boat museum and the new Holiday Inn Hotel situated just down the road.

MacDonald Humfrey (Automation) Ltd have had an office in the North West for 18 years but this is the first time a suitable facility has been discovered that suits the requirements of the business and our customers in the region.

The new facility which stands on approximately one acre of land, will undergo significant refurbishment to ensure the facility and environment is in keeping with the technical services offered to our clients.

The new facility has had a lot of history attached to it with its former years known to the contraband traders of the docks as ‘Custom House’ a name it is still registered under today.

Custom House was the former Customs & Excise building which monitored the docks for illegal trade.
